Big Six Research

Research doesn't have to be scary. It sounds big and difficult, but really it's just asking and answering questions! It really is that simple.

To help you stay on track, just follow the BIG 6!

The Big 6 gives us 6 BIG, easy steps to get from the beginning to the end of our research project.

Here are the steps:
1. Task Definition: What is it that you need to know?
2. Information Search Strategies: Where are you going to look for information?
3. Location and Access: What are my sources?
4. Use of Information: How did I get the information from my sources?
5. Synthesis: How am I going to present my project?
6. Evaluation: Did I follow the rubric?
